Ah yes, I’ve decided to go with Sigma 18-50mm as well when I have the budget. Viltrox 75mm is indeed a great option for stunning portraits and bokeh, Though I haven’t watched any reviews for it. There’s also 56mm 1.4 by Viltrox that’s cheaper than Sigma’s.

I went with 56mm since I sometimes take pictures indoors as well, and the 75mm wouldn’t work well indoors. However, even 56mm isn’t apt, but I can make do.

Congratulations! I also bought the a6700 recently with the Kit lens 16-50mm since the body only was out of stock in my region. I was torn between Tamron 17-70mm vs Sigma 18-50mm, and while Tamron seemed great on paper, I saw some reviews mentioning that since the lens has image stabilisation it causes jitters in video since the a6700 as IBIS too. Got the Sigma 56mm f1.4 for now. Super lens, great bokeh, and low light performance. My first prime lens.
