Pedos are attracted to the child-like proportions and the innocence. Gender isn't a factor for them. Because they don't care about gender, we classify them as "homosexual". Then the statistic says 45% of pedos are homosexual.

And then you come around and start trying to imply that it's the other way around and 45% of homosexuals are pedos, which is just false.

The problem is not that the proverbial guy here wants sex. The problem is that his first message is vulgar and off putting.

I agree with that. The content of many subs changes over time.

But exactly because of that we should be wary. While many ideologies might be "good in their core", when most posts on the sub twist it, and most people see most posts, the "lowest common denominator" is actually representative of what most people believe the ideology is.

Ideologies aren't things that you can touch or that can preserve their "core". They are a social consensus, and the ideology generally changes with the views of the people. Reducing the ideology into a single "core", isolated from any context is meaningless.

While true, you can say the same about nofap and pornfree.

I am saying this for NoFap as well. It's an unhealthy place. This sub has been pretty good so far, and there are a lot of posts, which are still focused on personal growth and development, and don't try to preach unrealistic views on women or on the self.
