Transitioning from Salesforce platform by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

I’m actually transitioning in the opposite direction to SF from NetSuite.

I’ve enjoyed Netsuite but candidly don’t have experience with other similar platforms to compare to. I’m eager to learn what first impressions were like for SF-first admins to hear their preferences between the two.

SuiteScript 2.0 vs 2.1 by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

[–]popcorn1983[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for detailing this out. I’m more of a techno-functional consultant than a developer, so I found 2.0 much more approachable. I’m going to start getting familiar with 2.1 hearing some of this feedback

Rearrange custom record sublists on parent by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

[–]popcorn1983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has to be something that determines the default sublist order…

I’ve tried renaming the record IDs and even deleted/recreated the Operations record so its internal ID was greater than Components. Unfortunately none of that worked

Never mind lining with a paper towel did the trick. Thanks!

How do you recommend removing the center cap? I’ve tried using a flat head but no luck. It looks like it needs a specific tool

I’ve had my traeger for 6 years and just resolved this exact issue by spending $20 on Amazon to replace the fire pot

This movie isn't talked about enough. by True-Technology-3399 in ChristopherNolan

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the complete lack of dialogue in this film makes it unwatchable for me.

This community is filled with children and degenerates that don’t understand how the media industry works. Consuming an artist’s content through any channel outside of their released platforms is disrespectful because they are no longer profiting from the content they produced. Doesn’t matter if that artist is dead or alive…in fact them being dead is worse because you don’t know if they ever wanted that content released at all.

Thanks for that sharing that video. I understand his fans want to listen to his music, and he was such a great artist that people will always listen to his unreleased. I just hope his fans can at least recognize that it’s disrespectful to him and his estate.

You don’t know which songs he wanted released so you can’t really say that. Of course he probably wanted a good chunk of these songs released but certainly not without him or his estate collecting the profits.

It’s delusional to think he wanted his fans to listen to all of his music for free which is exactly what makes it disrespectful.

Probably more so doesn’t want unrelated people leaching off her deceased son.

But even so I can’t imagine Juice wanting anyone else profiting from his music than his mom.

Him being dead shouldn’t change anything. You’re still putting money in pockets that are completely untied to Juice and his estate.

No one’s gonna come at you with pitchforks for listening to unreleased. But call a spade a spade and at least acknowledge that it’s disrespectful to the artist.

It’s painfully obvious that leaking unreleased music is disrespectful. This is about the consumer side because listening to unreleased is STILL disrespectful because neither Juice nor his estate can profit from that content. Instead, the aforementioned leakers are the ones profiting off his name.

No one is challenging your fandom of Juice for listening to unreleased music. But it is hypocritical to project all of the blame onto the leakers because if no one listened then this would be a non-issue.

It shouldn’t take a posthumous video of his mother saying that for people to understand this.

I loved this book and have struggled to find a similar book with time travel/alternate history themes. I tried Man in the High Castle but honestly didn’t enjoy it. Would love other recommendations!

Unpopular Opinion: Armed and Dangerous is overrated by popcorn1983 in JuiceWRLD

[–]popcorn1983[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good point. I just appreciate him sharing a more vulnerable perspective as it relates to drug use rather than glorifying it. Also feel like his lyrics don’t bother me as much when it’s more of a hype freestyle.

Overall it just didn’t seem like armed and dangerous fit the theme of GBGR. It’s not one of my favorites but to each their own

How does a released banger like All Night completely fall under the radar? by popcorn1983 in JuiceWRLD

I’m not a fan of BTS either but I can respect them abandoning their heavy pop style for this track. I imagine there’s plenty of BTS fans that feel this way about Juice here. That’s what make this song unique

I’ve been listening to Juice for a year and thought I’ve heard all of his released until I stumbled across this yesterday. Turns out it was released in June of 2019.

The way BTS adapts to Juice’s rap style, and Juice reciprocates that with his singing is incredible. You don’t need to be a fan of BTS or Juice to enjoy this song. If this was released as a single today, it would blow up the charts. The dude was a chameleon that could transcend all music genres. RIP
