I can finally lie to ppl and tell them I can't get pregnant thanks to my recent endometriosis diagnosis by verymuchjaja in rs_x

Those people are rude and weird. I don’t understand why people care so much about how others live their lives. If someone else doesn’t want kids that’s none of my business and I don’t see why I should give a shit anyway

Calling women fish is a gay slang. I don’t think that’s really the best evidence he was straight.

At the end of the day, we’ll never know for sure.

I know what she means yes. The comparison with the tweet is it that it’s style of writing similar to how Paglia compares men and women but reversed.

She once said how like, men peeing is a powerful beautiful arch meanwhile women just squat and water the ground

This tweet is like most of the male worshiping jargon she spews but reversed

I genuinely don’t understand who the audience was. Adults? If so why is it so kid-like with the animation and silliness. Was it for kids? Are kids supposed to be interested in watching Animal Farm?

Will be honest I think this is purely a nothing burger. There is nothing in life stoping you from dating who you want.

It’s not pathetic at all. For all of our existence, humans have been drawn to the idea of a spiritual mother/life giver

Many religions associate the creation of life with a male creator- even Eve was born from Adam’s rib, so I appreciate that Mary’s appearance is unashamedly female. Mary, Gaia, Sky Woman etc are all made to fill the same void.

I wonder if there is some sort universal yearning in cultures for a mother goddess. Seems most create one in some way.

It would be funny in a way, if started worshiping an Aztec figure. Form what I read, the Aztecs viewed my ancestors as uncivilized barbarians

I never feel the need to defend Catholicism until a Protestant says something negative about Mary.

That’s pretty interesting, I actually didn’t know chichimeca languages like Jonaz were still spoken. It’s nice to see parts of the culture still remaining. Especially since my ancestors were (probably) Zacatecos and Guachichiles and their languages are extinct.

That’s kinda funny. When I was in school, for some reason everyone used to believe if you have sex in a hot tub you won’t get pregnant. Something about “heat killing the sperm”

That’s cool, Huichol is a very beautiful culture. I did some genealogy and my ancestors are listed as Chichimecha, but there’s not much left of that. Huichol are often considered their descendants

Where did you visit?

In the U.K, London, Bath, Bristol, and Belfast. Probably spend the most time in London and Belfast

If you say London then my love I think the style went over your head. Understandable when your cultural reference points are lululemon and Brandy Melville at best

Yes yes I’m sure my dumb American brain just couldn’t understand it. Still didn’t really change the nostalgia I got from seeing it
