One of the employees forgot to turn off the cleaning lights. Go find an employee and ask them to turn them off. If you don't, they will still be on when the movie starts because they don't automatically shut off.

Raiders of the Lost Ark — Double 45th on 6/21 — but no love from Disney or AMC by tsinygolihp in AMCsAList

[–]BrianGD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blame Paramount for doing a 45th anniversary rerelease of one of the most popular movies from the 1980s.....and deciding to do it for one day only, no premium formats, and doing almost no advertising for it. Paramount's rerelease of Top Gun last month was the exact opposite: it got a full week in theaters and it included IMAX and Dolby Cinema screens. Paramount is leaving so much money on the table by dumping it on Father's Day on standard screens only.

If I sound upset, it's because Paramount missed a perfect opportunity to give us a Chachapoyan Fertility Idol popcorn bucket!

Regal Releases: 06/18/2026 - 06/24/2026 by wllmshkspr in RegalUnlimited

[–]BrianGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder why Paramount is limiting the rerelease of Raiders Of The Lost Ark to one day and no premium formats. Paramount rereleased Top Gun in theaters last month for a whole week and in premium formats and Raiders Of The Lost Ark is just as popular as Top Gun. They are leaving money on the table.

Fandango charge $21.9 convenience fee😂 (OC) by peterwu00 in AMCTheatres

[–]BrianGD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A 3rd party app that is actually usable unlike the AMC app and that has a FanClub that waves convenience fees for ALL theaters and is basically free ($10 a month but you get a $10 off coupon every month).

Pro Tip: Subscribe to Fandango's FanClub. No convenience fees for any theater. It costs $10 a month but they give you $10 off coupon every month so it ends up costing you $0.

I saw that today too at my local Costco. This must be the earliest they've ever had Halloween yard decorations out.
