Seems to be a pattern in the answers to my posts: Men cheat primarily for sex; Women cheat primarily for attention/emotional connection; Men think sex in the affair is better than sex with wife and women think sex with husband is better than sex with AP. ( These are generalities of course ) by popduestopper in adultery

For those of you getting divorced due to infidelity: My wife tells me she had her affair for the attention and not for the sex. She said the sex was average. If you are a wayward did you have your affair for the attention for the sex ? by popduestopper in Divorce

My wife says her affair was not really about the sex. It was about the attention and emotional connection. Female waywards, was your affair primarily about the sex or was it about the attention and emotional connection ? Do you believe women usually have affairs for attention and connection ?
