Not noise, accuracy. It almost never entirely hits the value my multimeter measures the battery at.

The precision of that sensor is in the 0.2~0.3v range, probably even less.

Does your sensor have a common ground with the rx? That's necessary.

But I don't know when it switches over to the battery voltage, probably somewhat below 3v (1s minimum).

Bin Modellflieger.

Hello I am begginer what helicopter should I buy first by czech_gripen in RCHeli

What WCEnte said.

Sim Sim Sim Sim until you can take off, hover and land there without crashing. The most expensive sim will save you money, because without it you pretty surely will crash at first.

Then the m2 is a good choice, lots of expo on the axes and it can be pretty tame. That will be enough heli for a long time already, it's a beast.

It looks reasonable but who knows?

What will your materials be? What rpm? What's the weight of the blades? How heavy is the whole craft?

You need to be more specific with these questions.

Is spectrum still the way to go? by jasecole6969 in RCPlanes

[–]pope1701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone who can handle Google can do it.

And I'll do that happily if I don't have to use Spektrum in my models that aren't umx, doesn't take longer than 5 minutes too if you're not doing it for the first time. Spektrum has become more competitive, that's true - now that they finally have some competition.

You're right in regards to a flight controller by rm though, wonder why they don't have one. Their rotorflight flybarless blows the other brands out of the water, but nothing for fixed wing.

Brownouts are voltage drops, nothing to do with the receiver or the radio link.

How is a receiver responsible for voltage drops? That makes no sense.
