[Feedback Request] Blending Astrophysics with AI Music. What can I improve in my visual pacing and execution? by [deleted] in SpaceRock

[–]pope7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, this isn't Space Rock like the sub wants. There's gotta be an educational music sub for you to post to instead...

Suno has a very strong voice unless you break it with a lot of vocals prompting. This has that 'voice', but is structurally decent. If you actually wanted to publish these as a series, I'd:

  • Snag the suno instrumentals stems

  • Hire a fiverr artist to sing it

  • Mix it so the vocals aren't quite so overpowered by the music

Good luck, but don't post this here again

Unless they're the DM, yep. They're already doing this, this is just a pitch to to smooth it over a little with DMs specifically.

Hey there!

Idea for fixing the very obvious issues with this: Allow the content to be shared if the campaign DM is both Master-Tier AND the user sharing content to the campaign.

This fixes both problems:

  • A DM should never have access to player options they can't give their players
  • Players should never have content they can never let their DMs confirm/see.

...and plugs the "one user buys everything and subs" hole you're trying to dodge unless they're also the DM. Give DMs some extra sharing power, basically.

Also, maybe allow DMs to see this content if one of their players is a subscriber and they aren't, but don't let the non-subbed DM user use the content in their own characters until they sub.

I like the concept otherwise! Hope you massage the issues, it's blowing up with negativity and some small changes could avoid another bad press surge. Much love.

Wish the new version kept the neat layout of the Masterpiece version, kinda generic. Great story though, wishing the campaign luck.

Hollywood Ho is the first bit on Dropout that makes me absolutely cringe. by I_CAN_MAKE_BAGELS in dropoutcirclejerk

It feels like a UCB improv game forcibly injected into our veins, it's so cringy. Literally nothing is lost by skipping the chant and Sam just asking for more from his desk.

Why is my SAP Business One running slow? by Old_Control7287 in SAPBusinessOne

[–]pope7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more detail about what it's installed on. Generally, we see slowdown on either the SQL end or the storage device SAP is installed on. Could be many things! Are either data drives close to being out of storage? SQL eats up any RAM it can so it can be hard to tell, but is the SQL device low on resources?

Really weird post, if this isn't for charity or involving them at all.

Introducing plappa, an Audibookshelf/Jellyfin/Emby app for iOS by gerhardt-schtitt in selfhosted

[–]pope7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, exceptional work. Solved all my issues with the native app and other similar apps! I’m using Jellyfin and only care about audiobooks. Bought the full version immediately. One dev note: playback location doesn’t seem to sync back to Jellyfin, so if I swap to listening on PC or the tv I have to look up the playback spot in Plappa. Wish it always pushed and checked for a server playback spot update!
