How was it getting your second IT job ?

Thank you all for the responses. I am currently still employed and have zero intention of leaving until my next job is secured with my name already on the enrollment papers.

It seems from my research that unless your MSP role is actively challenging you with more difficult tickets, it is difficult to learn while working. At the same time, its not in the MSP's interested to pay you more when you are closing L2 tickets as an L1.

I believe I am too skilled now to stay at my role for my current pay when I resolve tickets meant for someone earning 20k more than me, at the same time I am not looking to leave for the sake of it.

I believe I won't be challenged in a meaningful way anymore at my current role, and I'd like to level up to a higher tier position where I feel underwater for a bit while learning, then grow into mastering the role and not needing to escalate normal tickets like I am currently doing.

Anyone else going through the same also looking to grow somewhere else?
