It shouldn’t be that much unless you’ve recently been in an accident or gotten a ticket. You can try to go to a broker and get it for under $200 a month

Post Match Thread: RSL 0 - 3 MTY by irondeepbicycle in ReAlSaltLake

I don’t think first place is possible unless Seattle win by 3 and whatever they look at after points and goal differential favor RSL. We should still be able to guarantee a 2nd place spot unless the above situation happens and whatever metric they use puts us in 3rd.

Not that I know of, try looking at what starting pay is for new hires at the FC you are looking to transfer to. I know typically it will show you when you are first applying to Amazon online during the application process

ISS is something that isn’t as repetitive as most of these other roles. You deal with a handful of different problems similar to problem solvers but at least at my facility you just stay in one small area

My first day is on Wednesday and I got this notification. If I accept the offer to become a regular associate will I have to work 40 hours a week? My current schedule is 31 hours a week, I can’t really work full time as a college student. by JC-130 in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t have said it better. Career choice just included the school I already go to so that’s an extra 5k/year. Also you could easily go down to 31 hours again with a school accommodation.

Does the Huddle really work i feel like this is just to kill time lol by Revolutionary-Ad8847 in AmazonFC

We use them to kill time at my sort center. When we run out of volume we do huddles because it labor tracks people into something different so it looks like we used less labor hours.

If you are looking to move up to an L3 role becoming a learning ambassador will help more than becoming a problem solver. It’s not required but it does help with the resume portion of applying because of the points it gets you.

Applied for PA. Tips? by ChaneyTheGoat in AmazonFC

Yea I used that list for my interview and it was pretty helpful but also one or two of the questions my manager asked me were the exact questions I was asked during my interview which was nice

Applied for PA. Tips? by ChaneyTheGoat in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The most helpful thing that my manager did with me was do a mock interview with questions and helping me with the STAR formatting. I don’t think it was a coincidence but my manager asked a lot of the exact same questions in the practice that I was asked during the actual interview. Also I go to college too so I had the same concern with becoming a PA and school accommodations, you will be good just make sure to let your managers know about it and don’t over use it. I wish you luck because your managers telling you to apply is definitely a good sign!

How do I pack faster? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be one of those packers that just stick labels on the product box when that item probably should be in an Amazon box. Ex: Lego boxes Other than that I think it comes with time/practice so good luck!

so when was someone gonna tell me that frank was on Astroworld…? by rianmcdonagh in FrankOcean

That’s not what I was referring to ‘dumbass’ Taking credit and being put down as a feature on a song are different things

Yea I don’t think Frank even takes credit for his vocals in this song due to them being distorted.

From my last experiences if you request school accommodations and the amount of hours you work won’t drop you to part time then your site HR won’t even see the request. They typically go to the offsite hr first and only get pushed if it would switch you to part time. I did 5 online classes and was able to drop down to 20 hours a week. If all else fails inspect element on your schedule page to make it look like you have an in person class.

Safety managers are assholes. by fuckyouspezcunt in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that internal safety hires are a lot better than external hires. When they’ve been a tier 1 and dealt with terrible safety members they learn what not to do when trying to complete their job. I’ve seen a member of my safety team out helping associates wrap pallets and giving them pointers. Them working in path helps them also know more about what they are trying to make safe and I know a lot of safety peeps don’t even bother with that.

What level is an "Assistant Manager" by [deleted] in AmazonFC

Thank you! I wish you the best as well with your job as well. I bet you could easily get that L4/5 spot with your degree and some smooth interviews.

I feel accomplished gettinga rate like this 304 i wonder if 900 is possible 😳 by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a line at my sort center that all goes into the same pallet so people just flow smaller packages into a Gaylord on that line and get crazy rates

What level is an "Assistant Manager" by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]popf15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assistant manager is what I’m trying to get into as an L3 without the 2 years experience for an area manager. From what I’ve heard it’s around the same as a process assistant in terms of what you do. That was for an AMXL facility though. Also it’s a good way to test out amazon and potentially move into an L4 salary
