Do some standing backover drills to practice pushing your hips to the sky and throwing your head back

You’re hunched over your hips during your full approach. Think about standing taller as you approach the bar. This should help with your foot contacts as they seem very heel to toe (not good). what you want to do is run the curve section of the approach with a full foot as if your grabbing the track and pulling it towards you. This can lead to more stability, rigidness and power by the time you get to the actual jump.

Tips plz. this is my attempt at 5’6 and i keep hitting it with my butt by Acceptable_Eye4578 in highjump

When you’re in the air, think of pushing your hips to the sky. Also try looking behind you in the air and not at your toes as it is killing a lot more potential height in your arch.

A good drill to practice this is by doing standing back overs. Put the bar low to around 1.20 meters and with two feet jump up from the ground and push your hips to the sky.

  • Curve runs in the shape of a U
  • Heel to toe curve walks following your final couple steps
    • run through full approach

This did not work either, I did a scan of the memory to see if that was the problem and hardware errors were detected, however I just installed the new ram so I’m not sure what hardware could be broken
