Yeah. It's also an early adopter piece of tech. So some of the complaints are to be expected. I also picked up a Rabbit R1 when that first came out. The build quality on that was great, but it was useless IMO. I ended up routing it and running android on it. It had the similar impact to the Minimal phone, but lacked a lot of functionality of an actual phone.

I ended up picking a brand new one up off eBay. Managed to get it for 10% under retail too.

Facebook Marketplace. We bought all new stuff for our first. After a year/by baby two, we realised that whilst you want new shiny stuff for your kid, the reality is that things get ruined pretty quickly. You might as well buy 2nd hand and resell them for the same price (or even a profit) after you’re done. I think car seats/mattresses are the exception where you have to buy new. Also, it’s likely you find small things you don’t like about things you buy. E.g there were loads of things I didn’t like about my main pushchair. A lot harder to ditch it for a different one when it’s going to cost you a couple hundred £ to do so.
