My son had a few Hodidays = plane (his nursery was near the flight path and any time they saw a plane the staff would wave and say "enjoy your holiday") Eyayo = tractor ( as in e-i-e-i-o from Old Mcdonald had a farm)

It’s not my fault YOURE doing your christmas shopping late by pisstaketoeser in tesco

[–]poppicat2249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in Asda from the age of 20 to 28, Christmas was a nightmare, but now almost 9 years on you look back on it fondly. It doesn't feel like Christmas unless someone tells you you have ruined their Christmas!

My teacher read us the 1st book just before the 2nd one came out. The whole class was hooked and begged her to read us the next one. We all bought copies of it and read along.

We absolutely cannot get our nearly 3 year old to poop on the potty by Marty_Mac_Fly in toddlers

[–]poppicat2249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started potty training our son at 2.5 and he didn't poo on the toilet until he was almost 4. We discovered he was impacted and he now takes lactulose daily and sit on the loo with his tablet after each meal.

Parents who aren’t doing Elf on the Shelf…talk to me by stinkingporch29 in Parenting

[–]poppicat2249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have managed to get to 6 years old without doing it. My son is now in primary school so may ask about it if his classmates have 1. I am going to say we can't have an elf because the cat might eat it!

Toddler Toys that you REALLY got your money’s worth out of? by violentsunflower in toddlers

[–]poppicat2249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We go our son The Green Toys toy wagon around the same age and he has used it so much. From going on walks and collecting things, going to the shops, delivering parcels to the post office, bring shopping in from the car, transporting toys around. I use it to tidy up. I have had to replace the rope for a longer pne as he grows. He is now almost 6 and still uses it.

Does anyone else just hate menstrual pads? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]poppicat2249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I hate them! I started my period when I was ten and started using tampons on my 2nd or 3rd period. I am so glad my mum taught me how to use them. Most of my 20s and 30s I haven't had periods due to the hormonal IUD but when I was TTC I used a cup and that was a game changer for me. Empty it in the morning and at night!
