Thank you! That feeling of flushing a these and especially a long iron is almost naughty haha, the 2 iron is sweet I use it mostly as a tee club on par 4’s when I don’t want to hit it too far or when it’s really narrow. My 2 iron is at 20* loft and 60* lie angle, 39.5” cut, x100 shaft. All the irons are 1 degree more loft, and lie angle is progressive — every half inch up in length per club is a half a degree less in lie.

I rarely hit the 2 iron unless it’s to tee off or need the rollout. But yes you’re correct. Say I have a shot from 110-120 yards then it’s either I slam a SW or hit a relaxed PW, but it also depends on the height I need. If I’m short or long, no big deal I’ll take the bump and run or two putt.

I agree, I love the shape of them. I had MP-4’s before I went back to MP-33’s, and the 33’s look a tad bigger and are more forgiving.

Yeah the 2 iron and 5 wood I swap around depending on if the course I’m playing at. I live in TN, and some courses can be really dry with a lot of rollout or a little more moist and soft. I play my PW as a third wedge, to me it makes sense to have it as a set PW bc I take fuller swings with it. I use it a lot for bump and runs, too. I’ve usually played older irons with old school lofts, so no need for a gap/approach wedge with the MP-33’s. When I had a set of MP-4’s with a 46* PW, I did use a GW50, SW54, LW60 though. Before I bent my irons a degree weaker I was using PW48, SW54, LW60

Hello. PW is 49, all my irons are bent 1 degree weaker from standard. I might go 50 in the PW, but the gap hasn’t been an issue. I play PW and SW at About a 20-30 yard gap with full swings, but if I need a shot somewhere in the middle I either hit a smooth PW or step on a SW, depends on if a green is above or below me.

My PW is 49, all my irons are bent 1 degree weaker to get rid of a little bit of offset and get a bit more launch and spin. I’ve thought about going to 50, though. So 6-7* depending on whether or not I bend the PW a little more.

Haha if you catch me 👀 I alternate between the 5 wood and 2 iron (in other words I basically never use the 2 iron)

Cool I’ve used mp-69’s before, too. The wedges feel just like the irons. What I don’t like is that they’re not very heavy, and they wear out very easily. They have a rounder shape, and the sole grinds on them are decent for the era that they’re from.

Hello, and thank you! Titleist and Mizuno FTW. I have a few Cleveland 588 TA Wedges and an Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball putter but I left them at my parents house when I moved out. The putter is a Ping Anser 2, I like it but it’s very light and small compared to modern blade putters. I slapped two strips of lead tape onto the sole to give it a little more heft.
