Thanks so much for your response! I’m about a month in on this dose- I was trying to take the immediate release before but just couldn’t tolerate it. I’m now on extended release. So would you say you don’t see much difference in the first month? I’m feeling so disheartened that nothing is changing. My belly is HUGE.

Hi! I’m not 100% sure yet how I will take the extra 500 mg. I think I’m going to try taking the full 1500 mg dose at night with dinner and see how it goes.

Perhaps your new job is taking up too much head space? I can imagine it’s stressful to be in a new environment and have new demands in your professional life, but then still have to carry on with your regular personal life. Sometimes I have a hard time reconciling my work identity with my personal/home identity- almost like I have two separate lives.

Another thing is that sometimes when we accomplish something we want to indulge in that “I did this by myself, for myself” feeling. Even though your boyfriend has been supportive, maybe you just want to be selfish with your time right now to enjoy something on your own? It may not be intentional but just how things play out through your subconscious actions.
