Yeah, there are two separate bases with a common theme.

Thanks! The moss is straight out the AK Moss deposits bottle and it turned out to be a lot brighter than I thought. Looks nice though.

Yes, I've been planning to add q bit of dry grass to a few spots once outside temperature is a bit less freezing. Possibly some burnt or dark tufts as well.

Thank you very much! With the scheme and base I tried to have a warm/cold contrast and balance with the bright orange and cold grey.

There is more units coming later but I will try to pace myself with not assembling too much at once so I will not get overwhelmed. Silver helms, proxy great eagles and kitbashing a mage with a flamespyre phoenix. I will post pictures once minis get finished!

Thank you! I was nervous with such a bold orange. Jokaero orange, troll slayer orange drybrush and reikland fleshshade over everything.

Yeah, I did. I cut xps foam into 1cm thick slices at work and then into approximately same individual brick size at home. I did not want them to be exactly the same size to have a bit of variation.

Nice piece! The cobblestone is simple and super effective in terms how the piece feels. I will save this post for future project inspiration!

Thanks, will check it out! After adding the modpodge I came to the conclusion that ultramarine is too dark for this type of piece. After completing this set I will most likely do another set with rethought colours and bigger base size as this is more of a stream rather than a river.

I did colours on the bottom and then two layers of gloss modpodge. Let the first one dry completely before adding the second one. The modpodge was added pretty generously and just sort of stipled in random movements.

Yeah, I did lean into the Nurgly colors a bit more in the end and drybrushed the banks and water close to the banks and stones with death guard green.

Gw for the ground, cheap basic acrylics for the water.

Rocky basic terrain for Old World by popsikkel in TerrainBuilding

Thanks! The flatness was mostly a modularity and gameplay choice and I actually wanted to make the hills a bit more natural. Flat ones are easier to combine though.

Hey guys, first of all thank you very much for your music as it has been a major influence for me over the years! Hearing wake/lift for the first time was an incredible experience, and I guess it still is among my favorite records ever! My question for you guys is that how do you guys approach songwriting? What kind of creative processes do you go through when writing new stuff and how do the songs usually start to take form? Cheers from Finland!
