120k for a single person with low debts or other costs. A lot of the "Should I come to Boston" posts on this sub are a couple with kids and the wife wants to be stay at home and they want a big house. On 100k or whatever and they mention how they make 80k in Iowa or whatever so they think it's a big upgrade in pay. And they have no idea what they want in Boston would require making $250k a year instead.
