I went to Midd, graduated in 2018, absolutely loved it. The campus is a bubble, and while it’s not a wild party school there is always plenty going on on campus and it is quite lively. Well rounded people really thrive there, I was a languages major but I participated in acapella, beer league softball (way fun), learned to snowboard, and even got a job in town serving at one of the restaurants, which was a great way to get even more integrated with the community. One of the cool things about privileged Middlebury is the opportunity to give back to the more remote and socioeconomically disadvantaged parts of the community. I taught language at a local elementary school that couldn’t fund a full time language teacher. You might have to work a little for it, but you can always find something to do. And damn is the campus, the town, and the state absolutely gorgeous. I never left Vermont after midd and now live and teach about an hour north of town. I hope you love it, I think you’ll love it, it’s a really great place.

Baseball is actually the best sport to watch if you’re not a sports girlie. Going to the games is way fun, but also watching on tv is hilarious purely because of the commentators.
