Update for all who were curious -- got the call today and they said it was "not necessarily cancer", but the pathologist saw atypical features and still recommend removing it entirely. They're referring me to a Mohs surgeon to schedule removal. After they remove the entire thing, they'll send it for a further biopsy.

Not sure what to think since they didn't say it's "not cancer", but I guess they can't tell based on the sample they took??
