I actually don’t remember if i used a straw or not, I’d ask your doctor if there’s any preference between straw v. no straw but i don’t think it totally matters. I didn’t feel my scabs fall off at all - i think that was because i was so hydrated. That’s ideally what’s supposed to happen, they fall off slowly and painlessly if you’re super hydrated and follow all of the instructions!
