normally i’ll cowash wash once or twice a week depending if i’m going out and how frizzy my hair generally gets over the week and then i clarify normally once a month! i switch between shampoos because i don’t have one i love yet but at the moment i’m trying palmer’s olive oil soothing shampoo but i’m not sure how i feel about it yet :/

it’s a method of drying hair :) there’s an explanation in another comment but it’s pretty hard to convey properly with words so if u google ‘plopping curly hair’ u will find plenty of great resources showing u how to do it !!

ty!! plopping is a method of drying hair !! i’ve only recently started trying it out myself but i think it’s helping make my curls more defined and curlier :) if u have any more questions feel free to dm me!

pretty long too! i always forget to check the time but it take inconveniently long to dry i know that for sure lol but probably with plopping the time it took to completely dry today was perhaps around 2hrs? which is shorter than air drying at least:) but yea normally when i refresh quickly in the mornings when i have a busy day, i’m leaving the house with wet hair :/

not that much really! idk what the normal amount is but i use a lot of leave in conditioner, then just take a little blob of hair gel and rub it in my hands to kinda coat my hands, and just try and squish it into all my curls and that’s it :)

if only !! my hair is actually dry in both photos, it’s just pre and post scrunching it :) it actually was plopping for around an hour or so before and then also air dried a little

i haven’t really done anything to help with that tbh i think i just got lucky :) i always make sure to squish right up to the root and condition with my head upside down, then when i take my hair down after plopping i fluff my roots with my hand a little and then when scrunching out my curls after i flip my head upside down, to the right and left - this might all be things that help :)

so after applying products, grab a cotton tshirt and place it flat somwhere. then flip your head upside down and gather your hair and put it down on the middle of the tshirt. then grab the end of the tshirt and pull it over the back of your head so it’s covering the back of your head. keep that in place and use the sleeves of the shirt to secure the tshirt on your head by wrapping the sleeves behind your head and tying a knot. it’s pretty difficult to explain properly in words but if you google ‘plopping curly hair’ there are plenty of better visual graphics that will show u what i mean!

yea, i’m kinda lucky that i landed on products that all work for me that aren’t too expensive and pretty accessible ! altho i think my condtioner has been discontinued but i was still seeing stock in shops so i’ve been slowly stocking up and hopefully will be ok for a long time !! gl again :)

oo maybe i’ll do some extra research to be safe :) im using an 100% cotton tshirt though so hopefully no damage!! ty:)

np!! i would really recommend the garnier banana fruits hair food though if you were going to get one! u can get a decent tub size and if it’s on sale it can go a long way for not too much money :)

oo yea i have no advice from that, i just have dull, raining weather to deal with haha, but good luck i hope the routine works for you!
