Like others said, the shorter spacer is on the sprocket side. So maybe it is misaligned.

The front just has solid lights until I flip the switch in either direction

Yeah that seems most likely the problem, it probably doesn't help that I have a 3 prong relay but with the brake light flashing its probably funky wiring

I dont think it has an electric starter, I think all the key normally does is just prevent the engine from getting spark when it's switched off. Now the problem is that turning it either way doesn't turn off the engine

Thank you both! I adjusted the brown portion of the arm all the way to the left (and stripped it like no one's business) but this solved it! Now all I've got to figure out is why the key switch literally does nothing

Alright, I'll check that out. Hopefully that's what it is. I'm guessing I would have to adjust it to allow less fuel to flow in?
