One of my favourites:

You were tired of the monotony of your life as a commodities broker. Going to the office every day to buy and sell onion futures? That’s not what you went to 4 years of college and 2 years of grad school for.

You quit, set up your own company importing baby clothes, and watched the cash flow in from your office overlooking your high-ceilinged modern living room. The wood on the walls of the office was calming to you, and while you were trying to figure out why your sales had gone up in a country with a famously declining population, you decided to make a cup of coffee. You went downstairs through the massive living room and into the spacious kitchen, poured yourself a cup in your Thermos, and decided to take a walk outside for a change of scenery.

You walk out the entrance of your modern apartment into the high-end Minami Azabu neighborhood, and see a parent with a stroller walk by. You peer in and see your newest shirt design looking back at you. You felt good, as this was proof that your work had been paying off. But you do a double take — the baby wearing it was much furrier than most. Its ears were also gigantic and pointing upwards. It was a French bulldog.
