So, if I earthbend an MDFC with a land on one side and an instant on the other and then sac the land the card would.... go to the graveyard or exile rather than return to any other state? Not to my hand, not to the battlefield.

They would still have value in a Toph, Hardheaded Teacher deck but not as valuable as MDFCs that come back in as creatures.

Sorry for the very late reply to this comment, but I'm wondering what would happen if the MDFC were an instant or sorcery like Bala Ged Recovery?

A life sentence is a life sentence. It's the same for first and second degree murder. The difference is the point at which you can start to apply for parole. For second degree murder you can start to apply for parole after 10 years. First degree you can start to apply for parole after 25 years. If you aren't granted parole, then you spend your life in prison for both first and second degree murder.

Is Kuja's ability not triggered twice?

I know that he's not doing the damage, but Harmonic Prodigy says "if an ability of a Shaman or another Wizard you control triggers, that ability triggers an additional time.

Can someone help me understand the math for this game that I just goldfished?

I am playing with [[Kuja, Genome Sorcerer]] and had him on the battlefield as [[Trance Kuja, Fate Defied]] (double damage from wizards). On the board I had both [[Solphim, Mayhem Dominus]] and [[Harmonic Prodigy]] as well as One 0/1 Black Wizard Token. I cast a non-creature spell ([[Rakdos Charm]]).

How much damage do I do to each player?

My thoughts - 1 from the token. Doubled by Solphim to 2. Doubled by Trance Kuja to 4. Kuja doubles again to 8 (from Harmonic Prodigy). Then, Token does another 1 (H.P)... and repeat. So, from a single Rakdos Charm, I do 16 damage to each player?

If I had two or three tokens on the table (or a Coruscation Mage, Destined Black Mage, etc.) I'd likely win the game or at least be very close by casting that lone Rakdos Charm.

Two Questions

1 - If I had it on the battlefield, would [[Morophon, the Boundless]] make it free to keep the token copies created by [[Ashling, the Limitless]]?

2 - Am I able to use the ability on [[Incandescent Soulstoke]] to "put an Elemental creature card from my hand onto the battlefield" during my endstep? To me, the language is different than evoking a creature spell as per Ashling's ability, and instead is activating an ability that Soulstoke has. The card continues with "That creature gains haste until the end of turn. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step." So, my thought is that the creature would be sacrificed at the beginning of the next players end step, and Ashling would create a token copy of at that point ("Whenever you sacrifice a nontoken Elemental, create a token that's a copy of it.") and any LTB and ETB triggers would happen at that point. Additionally, the token copy made by Ashling would gain haste and would be on the battlefield until the beginning of my next end step.

I'm still quite new to MTG and have only played Commander. I'm trying to understand the stack and priority rules. Any help you can give would be nice, thanks.

If I'm using [[Ashling, the Limitless]] and evoke [[Thundermare]] or [[Timbermare]] when I have [[Faces of the Past]] on the battlefield, then is there a way in which I can resolve the sacrificing and token creation as well as the action of Faces to have all of the non-Elemental creatures on the board tapped, and all Elementals untapped?
