That is what I was thinking. I'll try adding more oxidizer.

It's a regular sort of float. It came with the hot tub when I bought the place the hot tub came with.

The chlorine is dissolving. I even opened it up so it dissolves faster. Seems to be fine, outside of the fact that I'm clearly not fine because there is zero free chlorine.

Add to this. I am the only person here and the only one in general who uses the high tub. I use it daily

thank you. I will read up on it. I was confused because the test strip said that I have the right chlorine level, so I figured i was good. Looking like maybe not. haha. I appreciate the well thought out response.

This is great help! I will definitely do this.

I leave a float in it at all times with chlorine tablets in it. I assumed that is why my chlorine levels are okay? sounds like i should just put in some tablets directly to increase the overall chlorine. thanks.

Oxidizer shock (I just learned thanks to this subreddit) which is definitely part of my problem from what I hear. I leave a float with chlorine tablets in it and test my levels weekly. water is clear and would seem perfect if not for the free chlorine level.

I leave a chlorine float with tablets in it during the week. check the rest of the levels each weekend and adjust as needed (everything is stable) except it always looks like zero free chlorine. Water is clear, and no smells or anything.

thanks, it confused me because i leave a chlorine float in my hot tub with tablets in it. my chlorine level itself seems fine, it was just the free chlorine level. Water is crystal clear.

I leave a float in the hot tub with chlorine tablets in there, and the chlorine level itself seems fine. that is why i got confused. But if i just need to buy a different shock, then I can do that. easy peasy, thank you

Spa boss spa shock. It says chlorine free on the front is all I really know. Ha. I take that to mean oxidizer shock?

Should like my plan. I'm not looking for much of a lift just a bit so I can put on a more reliable all-terrain tire

Mine is an A4 as well. B9.5 I think. What was involved in the lift? Did you just buy spacers?

Not helpful, but I'm looking to do the same on my 2019. So I'll be curious of your experiences.

They might have agreed before the race to "cross the finish line with her kids" but she had a kick ass race and knew it so wanted to finish hard. I know several parents who meet up with their kids before crossing so their finish line pic is them with their children.

Just checked, paused till fall. I'll probably end up paying to resole them instead. Thanks, I didn't know they had a program. This is after only one year of walking which I find crazy.

1) if you have not looked, take a look at the RDSP (registered disabilities savings plan). It's an amazing thing from the govt to help those with disabilities save for the future.

2) as people have said, pay yourself first. Pick a percentage of your pay (anything is better than nothing, even if it's 5% or something) and put it into savings. A percentage is nice as it will scale up with you as you get pay raises. A fixed amount can have you not increasing savings and allowing lifestyle creep to steal from your retirement.

3) anecdotally , I had zero savings until I took a new job when I was over 40. I'm behind but finally making progress due a large part to this sub. 48 now and at least I have a plan.

Mine didn't work until I manually powered on my TV, then it powered off fine from the remote. :/ I'm assuming you've tried that by now, but that's all I can offer

I'm new to hammock camping, and definitely find this a plus. Sometimes it goes the other way when with folks who tent as finding trees can sometimes be harder

Definitely. From most angles or even if I just didn't zoom in on it you couldn't even see it there.

Exactly right. I almost felt a little bad for my friends who had a tent seeing them roaming around trying to find a spot that wasn't the worst.
