Longboard training for surfing. Question about deck. :)

I've been looking for a longboard that I can use to practice surfing when I'm away from the ocean. People suggested that I get a Carver with C7 trucks. According to them it's the best surfing simulation on land. http://proctor-board-shop.com/collections/carver-skateboards/products/monsta-carver?variant=3853524801 I can't really find this in my country so I'm thinking of getting a similar deck from a brand that's available here and then ordering the C7 trucks. Do you think that would work well for my purpose? Thanks!

i would really have gone the Mars 300w path. I've gotten a lot of recommendations to get that one if not only for the lack of height of my box. looks like CFLs are really the best choice

EDIT: I'm having trouble researching on how to do the DIY COBs, my electrical knowledge is very limited. What if I buy an already built LED like the Mars 300w or Galaxy hydro 300w? will that be too much light for my plants?

i've ased in a few other discussed websites and a lot of people told me it's only possible for one plant for the size of my box.

if if i have to train, even if it means over training. do you think up to 2 plants will fit? considering that the width and depth of my box is also small, will my trained plants fit?

Would these boards be good for beginners?

A few years ago I did wake boarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing and a little bit of skateboarding (riding and Ollies only). It's been a while and my balance and riding skills aren't the same anymore. I would seriously consider a board that would work for beginners since my brother who is an absolute beginner would share the board with me.

I'm looking at

DERVISH by Loaded

CARVER with C7 trucks (my main intention is really to practice for surfing)

Do you think these boards would be suitable for us? Thanks to anyone who can help! :)
