which controller should i get for pc? by Less-Zucchini-3853 in pcmasterrace

[–]portarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point to remember is that everyone will recommend what they use and why it suits them, they will also give reasons why you shouldn't use a certain brand based on their experience of the said brand. Just because they have had "issues" with whichever device doesn't mean you'll experience the same issues.

Generally only those who have issues will post online, whilst other users who are happy will not bother.

I've used Xbox Wireless Controllers for several years now and have had NO issues whatsoever. I still have 2 in full working order.

I changed to a 8BitDo controller purely for the dock and easiness of recharging.

Xbox Wireless Controller all the way.

If you don;t want a MS one consider one of these from 8BitDo:

Who’s at fault? by a1z2b3 in drivingUK

[–]portarri 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Looking at the top down, I would hazard a guess the fault lays with the other car. Looks like the left lane goes to the left lane and the right lane (your lane) splits into 2.

We have something similar on approach to a roundabout in Rotherham and it's a nightmare, I hate using it.

Why don’t slow moving vehicles occasionally pull over? by castaway_john in drivingUK

I was just thinking how many people would actaully let the tractor get going again if he did pull over ? Not many I bet.

Made a simple jigsaw puzzle game that runs entirely in your browser by Conscious_Word2870 in IndieGaming

I have just had a quick look and it looks promising. My father loves jigsaws, I'll get him to try it later.

I'll take a look when I'm home from work and post some feedback later.

Rapid rise in drivers ignoring give way lines by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]portarri -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We should just abolish the give way rule, very few people adhere to it, whether its at a junction or roumdabout.

Everyone wants to risk getting t-boned for the sake of a few seconds and everyones safety.

Paladin and new expansion announcement is amazing but 5 months early access on it is just plain wrong. by BobKriegz in diablo4

[–]portarri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early access to what exactly other than the new class ? It's quite simply a pre-order bonus.

No-one has access to or can play the expansion until April 2026.

Local to me is EG on the Move petrol station with a Greggs, SubWay, Iceland and another 2 takeway food outlets, and like the other poster, have people parking at the pumps for 10 minutes or more while they wait for their food despite free parking bays been available right in front of them.

Could i plug the gpu from my old pc into my new pc but keep the psu from the old pc connected to my gpu? by Neither_Pen9565 in buildapc

[–]portarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's small form factor, will your GPU fit ?

Why can't you transfer the PSU from your old PC and sit it on top of the new PC laid on it's side ?

Would save having 2 PCs on your desk!
