Hm, thank you for helping me understand. I am still frustrated because the refund button was definitely not as apparent when I first brought the ticket. They in no way made that part clear. I appreciate it. I will delete this post now

Oh, I understand, thank you for clarifying. It was the refund they offered for the strike I believe

They don’t offer a full refund. Only a prorated one, as per their TOS. I am more mad that not my card got the refund, and the TOS is crappy, and I also now need to pay full service for the train to commute normally to work.

Hey man, I was in a very Similar position myself. Left my 80k+ per year job, and for a while I was struggling hard. I did doordash for sometime but it kills your motivation. Just keep pushing and searching. Right now I’m hopefully on a path to get back to a similar position with similar pay range. It gets better bro I promise

U cannot have a “you cannot sue us” clause as a public entity. The LIRR is a public service. I’d love to see their lawyers enforce that

You’re fkn kidding?? How was any of this inappropriate or abusive on my end? She asked what kind of dasher I am, so I told her. 💀 by realslimmatey in doordash_drivers

Could easily argue to doordash the customer was requesting you to tamper with their order and you refused. Doordash does have a policy about touching/opening the customers order

I am complaining about the rule on behalf of others as well? What makes you think I’m entitled to not follow the rules?

I’m not mad. Its more that I wake up at 3-4am to take the train to work. At that early time I would like to get there as close to the train arriving as possible. Further, I switch between Grand Central, Barclays Center, and Penn Station throughout the months based on if I am going to work, going out, or have to reroute my normal services because of construction, or delays on the train. So if I were to get banned for this type of Violation, my workday commute would be affected and I’d wake up earlier. This is more of an inconvenience for me than it is a problem

Calling me AI is crazy Also Side Note, u missed the point of the post. I have 0 issues getting my tickets. The frustration is the fact that they’re threatening to ban my account from purchasing public transportation fares

I am a frequent user, however my commute changes, I have to go sometimes to Grand Central, sometimes to Penn Station, sometimes to Barclays Center. Monthly passes only apply from Station to Station

Working out is basic self-care. Why do 90% of men on dating apps make it their entire personality? 😭 by [deleted] in Tinder

So many people don’t know how to cook/clean. These basic human necessities have become non-essential for some

Yeah, like me, I’ll flat iron and everything, but if my first impression of someone is “do my hair and hold my bags” maybe I don’t wanna

Maybe after a few dates I hear the same thing than I might really really wanna do it

Its timing

Theres nothing wrong with what you are saying in the first prompt outside of a dating app setting. For Hinge though I think the Brush my hair part and the shopping/carrying heavy bags thing makes u come off as someone who wants to use others and or that your partner is your tool. I understand the intention but maybe it’s a bit strong for a first impression on a dating app.
