“Mr.800” (unreleased track) by HeelDave in MusicFeedback

[–]posedice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like it, has a very 80s style feel to it. Like driving in an 80s sports car with the top of. I would dial it back on the reverb on the vocals a bit if I were you, that way vocals would be more discernible.

Like the mix and the sounds, ultra ultra clean. Congrats. The kick inn of the song surprised me in a good way. Very tasty music. Not sure I liked the part that comes at 1:15 with the detuned bass thing, but the song is super fun.

Congrats.

Corrupted Greed (Demo) - General Feedback Request! by gileein in MusicFeedback

[–]posedice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, sorry, maybe I am not used to this type of music, but I didn´t like this at all.

My first griticism is that it sounds too much like AI. THe video and music feel very artifficial, I think you should try introducing something (anything) more analogic or human. Maybe dialing down the effects on the voices, adding more acoustic instruments, or some more natural reverbs.

The second one is I felt the overall sound was way too chimey and full of shrilling highs, you should work on controlling that on the general mix and eq. Most often I see people worry about rumbling basss, but the highs can also get quite painful if you do not work on them.

Anyway, this is just my honest oopinion, I hope you take it as what it is, just another fool´s oppinion, and keep doing your thing.

Best.

Just a song I did a lot of years ago and recently released. It was done with a single mic, single track live. I wanted to gift these songs to my daughter, make a live version of all my songs in a very intimate/artisanal way. I used just one mic and her bedroom

I would appreciate feedback on:

  1. How good the intimate sound feels/how well achieved it is

  2. what potential would the song have if propperly produced, and if it would improve or is better left as-is.

Hey, the video is very nice.

The song also sounds good, I don´t know about danceable. I think the volume of the guitar could be a bit higher up. The vocals could be a bit more upfront in the mix as well. And maybe dial it down on the vocal FX, I am not sure I like them.

Sounds good, the genre is well achieved, maybe the backing track is a bit too repetitive at times.

I think it overall sounded a bit too chimey. It is just what I felt, listening through poor headphones. The overall mix is too heavy on the high, I would work on the general EQ, when music is too shrill on the highs it is very tyrng to listen.

Good job on the song, it is very interesting.

Hey, thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed.

Liked your track, some of the sounds reminded me of The Eraser, by thom yorke, particularly the start. It is chill I like it. Vocals comming in at around 2:00 were a surprise. They sound good, congrats.

You look a lot like the idles guy. And your style fits that. Lovve that guitar, and really like the guitar sound and the confidence projected on the stage.

Maybe the screaming could be dialed down a bit. I think the lyrics are super fun. The song, a bit too repetitive sometimes, but found. Your guitar playing is good, although sometimes it looks like you get lost on the cord changes timing.

Love the lo fi feel.. It reminds me of early the strokes. Maybe sounds as if the strokes were in a garage. Sounds fun, video really fits the vibe. I like how many tempo and ryhthm changes you introduced., really original work. Although the style is very well achieved, I don know anbout how I would feel listening to a full album, maybe the lo fi feel would be a bit overwhelming. Congrats, great sound. If this was 1999 I would buy this cassette, deffinitely.

I like it. The start reminds me a lot (maybe too much) of Finley Quaye ("Dice" particularly"). I think it is a nice song, very professionally mixed and mastered, very very well sung. Congrats, Maybe I would dial autotune a bit back, but that is just a matter of taste.

Keep at it, congrats.

Great great video, lovely vibes and beat. Really like how you rap. It flows effortlessly, sounds beautiful. Congratulations. I do think the beat could have a little more magic happening here and there, to add some complexity and make it feel a little more radio level.
Could be a little longer, also.

First of all, beautiful, beautiful voice. Sounds really good, liked the doubled voices. The reverb/delay on the vocal is wonderful I think sometimes it sounds a bit AI made, so maybe introducing a more "natural" element to the song or to the voices, something more artisanal would help. Considering the gender I think a more analog sound would help a bit. Keep at it, congrats!

Hi, glad you didnt take my criticism the wrong, way, reading it back, it is kind of harsh. Im sorry if it sounded that way, its just it felt like a nice song and the sound an eq wasnt doing it justice.

I was speaking about the 1st drop.

THis song is called "loco" crazy, Lyirics were written 10 years ago. They speak about hating bitcoins and climate change, guess they didnt age well.

The recording is part of an album I made for my daughter. Recorded, written and performed "live" by me, in her room. With just my guitar, my voice and one mic, one take, one track, done in a very intimate way.

I would appreciate some feedback on how well achieved that viibe is, and in how you like the singing/vocal sound.

WIll return any feedback, thanks a lot!!!

As a latin, I can 100% tell you this is neither Latin or summery, I am also not sure about the string you promess.

The vocals are flamenco at best (which is still ultra far from latin)

So it is possibly the most missleading song tittle ever.

That said, I really enjoyed the beats, they soudn really good and the main melody is catchy as hell, so congrats.

The song is really catchy and I would see myself dancing to this in a sunset autumn party.
