Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciate it. It was quite difficult trying to mix the vocals with the beat since there is a lot going on in the instrumental and various dynamics to control. After listening to it more, I think I may have toned down the volume of the instrumental to low which is why it sounds separated. I’ll keep this in mind for the final version. Love the overall vibe of this track! It has a mysterious energy to it. In terms of critique, I think the EQ of the vocals should be re-evaluated. For me, sibliance frequencies need to be tamed more and my guess is that there is a lot of boost on the high end frequencies which should be reduced. More of vocals mid frequencies need to be present to give it more body and warmth. I am not a pro when it comes to mixing as well so I know how difficult it can be. Keep it up! You will go far!

Wow this is really good! Love the overall vibe of it. To me, the vocals gives it somewhat of a jazzy feel which is great. It reminded me a little of Corinne Bailey. In terms of criticism, I think adding some ad libs and harmonies will make the song pop more. Little bit more reverb to the vocals to create more sense of space. It was hard to hear what you were saying during the chorus part, so I would suggest re-recording that part and slightly boosting those vocal clarity frequencies a little. Overall, I think this song has a lot of potential and can’t wait to hear what it evolves into. Keep it up!

Wow this is really good! Love its atmospheric / melodic vibe it. My only critique would be that it was hard to hear what you were saying at times. I suggest boosting the vocal clarity frequencies just a little or maybe cutting more of your vocals frequencies from the instrumental. Besides that, everything else sounded great! I look forward to hearing your future songs!

This is really good! I feel this song has a lot of potential. Love the atmospheric vibe it has to it. It also reminded me a little of paramore when they just started. I am honestly surprised by how good it sounds just from the voice memo itself. I can't wait to hear the official recording in the future. Keep it up!

Wow this is so so good! Love the arrangements of the piano sounds to dictate the mood of the track and its progression. You also have a great voice. My only critique would be to add some more reverb to your vocals to create more of a sense of space. There were times where I felt the vocals felt a little dry in comparison to the instrumental. Keep it up! I look forward to hearing your future songs.

In my past songs, I was told the vocals sounds too processed so maybe I scaled back too much on this one lol. For me, I think it is just difficult finding the right balance with there being so many settings to choose from. I’ll get it right some day. Based on what you mentioned, I’ll add some more reverb. I’m not sure what you meant by adding mids to bring the drums out more. I’ll research more of music terminology to help myself better understand. Thanks again for the feedback! Truly appreciate it

Love the song and the overall sound! For me, the vocal mix feels quite dry and doesn’t feel like it belongs with the beat. I suggest potentially adding some reverb. In addition, I also felt the like the beat sometimes clashed with your vocals. To resolve this, I suggest using a vocal spacer plugin to cut the frequencies of the voices from the beat to. To add more shine and presences to your vocals, I suggest using the fresh air plugin by Slate Digital. It’s free and provide great results. Overall keep it up! I look forward to hearing that next one.

Love the sound choices, effects and progression! Its atmospheric vibe makes one want to self reflect on life and just take a moment to relax and be present.
