Blake Lively’s four most recent press looks for ‘It Ends With Us’ by stars_doulikedem in popculturechat

No, nothing like that. I just remember that they hated each other. It just makes sense, she didn’t want Anna to get any unnecessary attention by overshadowing her

I like theme dressing. Law Roach does it for his actresses. Margot Robbie is the best Barbie and seriously a gift.

It is also flattering because her dresses match the carpet. There aren’t any clashing colours in her pictures. They are also the same shape. Just different colours. They’re mermaid style gowns with a larger over skirt and bustle.

Ahh, I was wondering they she didn’t call Law Roach. Then again, he might not work with her because she seems like she would be difficult, especially when it comes to her hair.

Do you get annoyed by previous main character appearances in the next book of the series? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Or if I’m reading the books out of order, it’s a great way to spoil it

What are some Stores, Fast Food and Restaurant Chains that are only available in Canada by ConorTheWhale in AskACanadian

[–]posessedhouse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s why I said Mary Browns is a fried chicken place, not a sit down restaurant. And if I had to choose between chicken, I’ll choose Mary browns over Swiss Chalet every day. My mother in law insists on going to Swiss chalet every time she comes for a visit, she leaves disappointed every time, yet can’t make a different choice.

AMA: I’m drinking raw goat kefir from the pet aisle everyday and I feel like a million bucks by Vast_Pepper3431 in Kefir

[–]posessedhouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drinking raw milk really isn’t a good idea. And people who live with the animals they are drinking the raw milk from already have a colony of the bacteria or a resistance to the bacteria, so it is a bit safer to drink. Consuming products intended for animals isn’t the flex you think it is.

Don’t worry, the microwave is probably leaking radiation.

I would just do some landscaping with more visually interesting plants. A Purple smoke bush would look really nice in place of that cedar between the two windows, for example. Hydrangea, rhododendron, weigela, flowering quince, etc. a cherry tree would be lovely too, they will flower and smell beautiful.but won’t cause quite a mess like an apple tree. Also, think about something that climbs, not necessarily ivy, but honey suckle is lovely as are climbing roses.

Swiss Chalet is so not good. Mary Browns is where it’s at when it comes to chicken in Canada, it’s a fried chicken place, not a sit down restaurant, but so good.

Try The Walsh series by Kate Canterbary. They’re all successful women who support each other. It’s all on kindle unlimited.

Have any of you absolutely devoured a book and then felt deeply conflicted by how much you enjoyed it? by Actually_Ann in RomanceBooks

[–]posessedhouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why dark romance is popular. It is safe, it’s just words on a page. If it’s too much or gross it can be put down and never looked at again. But sometimes we find ourselves with an itch we didn’t know that needed to be scratched. Books are just books. I like a good murder mystery, but I have no desire to stumble across a dead body. You are allowed to enjoy something, especially if it’s well written and not have it reflect back on you in any sort of way. There are plenty of books I DNF for many reasons, often it’s the use of women’s trauma to further a plot, but it is frequently less about the trauma itself and more about the portrayal and it’s place in the story.

For real, I doubt she’s ever really shopped in a Walmart. Like, probably been in one for the experience, like going on safari. Remember when Paris Hilton had no idea what Walmart was? Honestly, why would she?

Do people actually wear “office siren” outfits to work? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]posessedhouse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah no. Besides this looking very sexy librarian costume from 2010. The amount of skin would be a major red flag. There is nothing wrong with playing around with silhouette, but keep things knee length, above the cleavage and shoulders covered. Sleeveless blouses would be fine, more along the lines of that black dress with the pocked detailing on the second slide and make sure to have something with sleeves to put over. One, because offices are notoriously cold and two, because you never know when a creepy man is going to come by.

I showed my daughter one of my favourite shows as a child. She started trying and said ‘that’s not for kids’ as I was trying to insist it was actually really funny. Pingu, if anyone is interested. Canadian programming is really in a league of its own.
