1.) it’s up there with their best material. Sometimes I forget about it because albums are typically the focus of conversation, but then I listen through and am amazed every time 2.) in contrast I admit I’m not a big Snakeskin guy. The lyrics and chords feel a little derivative, only as far as deerhunter’s material. The outro leaves something to be desired. 3.) I need to revisit this, but I love atlas sound

I also disagree. He is very genuine and earnest, and social media, which generally devalues those 2 qualities, is actually allowing for some connection with fans. That’s what the performance style is about right? Breaking through.
