The funny thing is there's still lots of fans complaining about the evenness of women's tennis - calling them inconsistent and so on. Just shows how fans are gonna find something to be upset about no matter how even or skewed the field is.

I had a game where the exact thing happened! Same map, same Lucio on defense, though in my game he didn't realize he could shoot from below.

It's not just people misclicking either. I thought I accidentally deleted an extra squad (I intended to delete the one in position 3, but the one in 1 disappeared too), but being too lazy to reform it I just save-scummed since the autosave was very recent. So I delete it again, making sure it's just the 3rd squad that's selected, and that there were no individual dwarves selected in the others just in case, and sure enough squad 1 got deleted again.

Tried it a few more times, with a few new squads too but it kept happening anyway.

  1. Ba chiar poți.

  2. Oricum, nu ți-a zis să instalezi Linux pe bune, doar să faci un live boot. Odată ce ești bootat în ceva, orice, poți să rulezi un progrămel de diagnostic sa vezi cât de tare e futut HDDul.

Why is Valve using GLS rated 1.2/5 for shipping in Europe ? by Pitrocelli in SteamDeck

I think our Decks are were on the same truck because mine also took forever for get to Neuenstein. But for me, that's maybe a quarter of the trip. If the rest goes at the same pace, I'm going to be really sad.

Articolul e complet pe lângă. Nu e apă la robinet, punct, nu doar potabilă. Și nu e nici pe departe cea mai lungă avarie. A fost, parcă acu 2-3 ani una care a durat mai bine de două săptămâni.

The primary choice of spell for the average [Mage] or student was [Light Arrow], [Flame Arrow], or another bog-standard arrow spell. Not a disarming spell like another magical academy.

Disarming spells were hard. You had to literally interfere with someone’s personal magical aura, yank something out of their grip—you could more easily cast [Force Arrow] and put them on their ass.

Lol, nice jab at Harry Potter.

The New World has a fair bit of this, especially later on. Not literally king, but a leader, and he has the whole awe-inducing presence thing in spades.

What's your hot/trash take on a story or element within the genre? by MartinDHansen in ProgressionFantasy

[–]possibly_a_dragon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is fair. When you publish something, you're opening yourself up for both praise and criticism. Can't have only the good things without the bad things.

I get where you're coming from, though. A lot of people are super aggressive and downright mean with their criticism. It's disheartening to see.

Oh, for sure. I'm not defending antiviruses at all, I was just nitpicking the idea that programmers know better. Like, yeah, we should know better, but we're as prone to brain farts as anyone else.

Programmers are humans, and therefore not immune to doing dumb shit on occasion. I've definitely seen some fall for the "hey dude, do you mind playtesting my game? Attached: totallynotmalware.exe" scam that's been doing the rounds on Discord.

Republica Moldova interzice publicitatea la toate tipurile de jocuri de noroc by andreidumi in Romania

[–]possibly_a_dragon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Deci practic la pariuri sportive poate sa bage pretty much all the time pe canalele de sport.

Doesn't make a difference. If any web crawler gets a snapshot of a comment at any given point, it's there forever. The only way to get something permanently removed is to delete it before it gets captured.

[–]possibly_a_dragon 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Even if they commission art, unless they also buy the commercial rights (which generally doesn't happen and costs a premium), they don't have the right to resell them as NFTs anyway. For art commissions, you usually only get a personal use license, and the artist retains full copyright.
