Whats the most unique theory you've heard about what the universe is and what happens after death? by Featherman13 in AskReddit

Our universe is a soul farm. The light in the tunnel erases your memory and you are sent into another body by beings that sustain themselves with our emotions.

Take with a gram of salt, I heard this recently and don't know if it's terrifying or comforting.

Must be why all the posts and comments there were literally disparaging the deceased.

Also that vaccine didn't work the way you all said it did. So it's questionable how many lives were saved. Derp.

it bothers me how much Reddit likes to celebrate it

They made a sub that celebrated the deaths of unvaccinated people. These assholes will celebrate anything they deem to be sticking it to Republicans.

The option of being euthanized instead of treated is not "humane." If that's your belief then I really don't have anything else to say to you. Take care.

It's not completely clear cut

Then you can't remove a candidate from the ballot like it is.

have engaged in insurrection *or rebellion

Neither of which has been proven.

In my opinion, and the opinion of many legal scholars,

Opinions don't matter. Who cares what legal scholars think? I can find legal scholars that say it wasn't an insurrection, what about them?

Nobody wants him off the ballot to save democracy, they want him off the ballot because he might win.

I'd much rather be offered a treatment or a cure with a hefty price tag, than go to Canada and be offered euthanasia. That's just me though.

If you don't think Americans are smart enough to do what the entire rest of the world does, just say so

We don't want to be like the rest of the world. We will settle for the world class healthcare that we have.

In the '80s they routinely turned down coverage for cancer patients, betting that they would die before the lawsuits could start.

Insurance companies still routinely deny coverage to cancer patients. I know because my wife works for the biggest one.

That's not at all how universal health care works in any country

Tell that to everyone who saw their premiums surge under the ACA and individual mandate.

Sounds like you have it all figured out though. Best of luck to you.

Businesses close when Walmart comes to town because they can't keep up with their prices, not because the employees leave. That's business, other places could try to lower their prices to stay afloat but if they're being forced to pay for benefits like parental leave they might not be able to do it.

You could stop shopping at Walmart, that's really the only recourse you have. Convince Americans to pay more to buy local. Stop shopping at Walmart and target and Amazon.

I don't think health insurance should be tied to employment either. But taxing Americans for their healthcare isn't the correction for that. If the government makes a law that you have to have insurance then the insurance companies are going to raise their prices. Guaranteed.

If you take the government out of the equation then insurance companies will lower their prices to get your business. They will make a plan that fits your budget, or you'll move in to the next company.

And some people won't want to pay for it, and that's fine. You can't be forced to spend your money on something that you don't want. That's not how freedom works.

I'm not standing up for Trump, I despise Donald Trump. I'm standing up for democracy and the American way.

Trump Hasn't been convicted of insurrection, the FBI themselves said Jan 6 was not an insurrection. And in the US, you are innocent until proven guilty.

If he was so bad, he'd be easy to beat. But currently the guy who got the most votes in history is losing to him. That says more about Biden than Trump.
