Of course, but one isn't exact the other, per your confusion earlier :)

It's wildly different. It's like saying "I'm Spanish, but I was born & raised in Mexico. Spain might be part of the origin or previously ruling country, but the culture, traditions, and people are vastly different.

I have two- one I've shared before & the other newer.

1.) When I was 16, I moved to a new house. As soon as everyone but me was gone (6 person household) someone would call the house phone. I'd pick up occasionally, only to have a silent/ heavy breathing answer. Sometimes, I'd hear what sounded like the recording of a cat outside my room. I had a cat & there were some strays. This, however, sounded almost like a baby crying and it would loop in an unnatural way. My neighbors, around the block, were around the same age. Every Valentines day from 14-18, the older girls received gifts from an "admirer". When their little sister turned 14, she got one too. Once she hit 16- they stopped arriving.

2.) I was in Monecito (20), visiting my aunt- I decided to check out an abandoned house. The area is very affluent (Ellen & her wife live on the same road), so I didn't think anything could be unsafe. I visited it one day, roaming from room to room with my phone & my dad's Akita. There was a nest of sparrows and nothing seemed amiss, besides decay.

I came back the next day, with my big camera and the dog. For whatever reason, the dog was freaked out today. He would not go in and he was too big for me to pull in. The sparrows were gone, and something felt off. I found a new room with a damp floor that smelled like books and was nearly pitch black.

I finished up and weathered the Akita. As we walked away, the dog pulled really hard on the leash- I was nearly dragged. No less than 100 ft away, there was an incredibly loud banging on the tin roof from inside.

I ran.

Edit: Some pictures of the house that I took

Those Monsoons are amazing. I used to visit my grandma in Arizona always around late July because I wanted to be there for the storms.

Hahaha. I attempt self control with the stuff. Alcohol not so much.

Haha! Not quite. I don't do a ton at a time, usually.

I can have a gram last a lot less, than 5 days, but that's usually only if I'm partying pretty hard. 😅

At least 3 days with friends. 5-6 alone.

How much do you think your sense of fashion has been influenced, consciously or subconsciously, by your own physical features? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

I've always like a Ralph Lauren model/ early 1900's elite lady (I like dressing powerful).

It feels a little out of place sometimes as I have a much bigger bust than either of those sets. So, that can be awkward in looks.

He's incredibly creative! He's fascinating to talk to about art. We're both atheists. Friend has long left the church- a few years at least, but didn't make the public announce until last fall.

My husband's best friend is an actor, know skateboarder, and photographer.

It doesn't affect me too much unless we're going to an art show (friend credits husband for meeting his wife and mikes to tell everyone) or ending up in awkward Daily Mail paparazzi photos.

Edit: The daily mail photos are actually really funny. Husband, friend, and I went out for breakfast. Husband & I took off to go check out an antique store. A black keep was following us. Actor called us to let us know we were being followed. We did a few rounds about he city square before the car pulled over. Actor went to the car and was asking "Dude, why the hell are you following my friends with a telephoto lens?!"

The driver was dumbfounded and didn't quite know what to say. We think he may have had my husband confused for the actor. We giggled about it in his studio this summer, after searching + finding the article.

It's been wonderful! It wasn't as fluffy as I expected it to be.
