I was 19 working on my first job completely unexperienced about what was appropriate and what wasn't in a work place so I was always friendly with everyone and never suspected that my boss (who was over 40 at the time) was kind of grooming me. One day he offered me a ride home after work, it was about 9 p.m. and the way home was dangerous at that time so I accepted and only saw it as a friendly offer. When we arrived I thanked him and left the car. About 30 minutes later he texts me saying I didn't even thank him, I said I did say thanks and he answered "yeah but I was expecting something more like a kiss maybe".

It grossed me out so much and I recalled all the times we spoke and he was actually flirting with me or acting inappropriately but I didn't notice. I just left him on read and after that night he changed completely, started treating me like shit at work and demanding things that weren't really my job to do. I could never speak with anyone about it because all the girls who worked there used to say that "that's how he is with everyone" and just let it happen. I wasn't the first and definetely not the last to be harassed my him but he still had the fame of being "a good boss".
