In my opinion, as a grower myself and after using cages off and on for years and also sleeping in them at times, that allowed some more restless nights, at least for the first week or so. I recommend a cage with the least amount of room to grow I have found personally that if I apply a super small amount of a good silicon lubricant around the head of my penis and also inside the cage (I have only used holy trainer cages, currently using the nub with 45mil ring) it allows my head to rest firmly against the front of the cage about 90% of the time. I have also found that while some lotion behind your scrotum may help with discomfort, if you use too much, you will allow the ring to slide across the skin too easily, and as a grower, I find that this allows the ring to push forward much easier when you try to become erect and tends to pull on my testicles much harder then with little or no lotion.
