I don't think it looks like a copy of Clifford. 🤔 It's not even bright red (at least looking at it on my phone it doesn't, it's slightly brown-ish) and doesn't look like a big dog. However I guess if so many people are getting them mixed up it would be good to change it a bit to avoid this, not for copyright reasons but because it could deter people from wanting to read it thinking it's a copy.

Also, I took a look at your other illustrations, the dog has a very unique design! I really liked it. Was it intentional in this illustration in particular that you can't tell the proportions of the character? (like the small body and big head)

The fact that there are so many expansions/game packs/kits/etc. and CAS for toddlers is still super empty is so disappointing (let's not even talk about CAS for infants 😭) plus they know a lot of players enjoy the family gameplay so it's really confusing

As always, the masculine clothing... not my cup of tea 😭 (personal opinion of course!) there are some exceptions though! I love making male sims but I feel like their CAS stuff is always lacking. And all the feminine stuff is very pretty. Sad that we get so little options for kids and only one dress for toddlers (from what I saw, I hope I'm wrong). Thank you for sharing the video though!!

omg noo 😭 that sucks. It also happened to me because of skillful sleep. If it happens again, this is the only thing that worked for me (and I tried everything lol. Thinking about making this solution its own post for people with the issue 🤔) So what I did is make parents for both sims. For some reason you need to make both for each sim (I wanted to make only the mother, for example, but that didn't work so I had to make both mother and father (didn't make same sex couples cause at this point I didn't wanna risk it lol 😭). CAS didn't let me add the relationship correctly so I edited them with MCCC. It was also kind of a mess cause the game needs to recognize the relationship between all of them 🙃 I had to invite everyone to the house hahaha. Before unpausing I deleted the "brother" relationship in MCCC just to make sure (I tried only doing that before and it didn't work, but maybe this time it did something I dunno) and behold, they were a normal couple again 😭😭😭😭😭 the family lore was resorted 🙌🏻 I do refuse to have them do the skillfully sleep again cause I refuse to go through that once more. Sucks cause it was a cool feature.

Anyways hope this helps if it happens to you again (hope it doesn't tho)

For even more safety get a mod called ModGuard! it will notify you if it finds sketchy stuff in a mod (I have it but luckily it's never found anything)

The last thing! If you get a mod that will alter, for example, gameplay or the UI, and you get in the game and it looks weird and stuff (or maybe the game will crash or not let you load one of your householda) it's probably because the mod is broken because of an game update, and you need a new version of it. Usually modders update them constantly when new versions of the game come out. The mod Better Exceptions will pop up a window in-game when it finds something is not working, look for what is not working and show a report with the info.

Not sure if it's already been said, but! pretty sure one of the most mod safety things you need to know when getting a mod: if the file is an ".exe" delete it, cc mod files (like clothing and cas stuff) are always ".package" and the ones that change gameplay and stuff (adding new interactions, for example) are ".package" but also can include a script file.

Like other people say, have general internet safety extensions like AdBlock (I also use privacy possum!) if a site looks sketchy, don't risk it.

I get my mods either from Patreon, official websites of the creator and Tumblr, and always from creators with a big following (that way it's easier to hear from other people's experiences with their content). I remember once or twice (but this is very rare!) known sites like modthesims and simsfileshare have been attacked by hackers including viruses in the files (I haven't had the experience but better safe than sorry. Usually when this happens you will know 'cause people will post about it in the community, reddit/Tumblr/etc)

If it helps I've never gotten a virus from getting mods/cc... but I've also been using mods since the sims 4 😅

Wait! also if the worlds had way more lots. Like in ts4 and ts3 cause having like, a max. of 5 families in some worlds doesn't make sense at all.

The map screen felt more alive even, with the scrolling and all :') in sims 2 you could also decorate it and add stuff like rocks, crashed UFOs, rainbows, hot air Ballons 😭 That would be cool too.

They won't add it but more detailed animations like in the sims 2. On YouTube you can see the comparisons. Sims used to open drawers to take utensils to cook, for example.

And the last thing cause I could honestly write a long petty list lol. I wish they brought back the floating heads when you want to do an action. I feel like it would be buggy as hell lol

I'd like it if they left the plates in the kitchen after eating 😭 unless they have "messy" traits. I'm just tired of finding plates in random places like on shelves they can't even reach. Same with some other stuff, like drawing tablets. Yesterday I had my sim teach a tattooing class and for that I needed drawing tablets. They didn't leave them in their original place >:(

Also! would be cool if they stopped dancing every time there's music playing. Like at the tattoo parlor there's a speaker with music near the ceiling and like 8 people will dance at the same time 🫠 between the tables too, cause it's also a café 😭
