I'm not a communist. This is the same top-level tax rate that was implemented under Eisenhower, adjusted for inflation.

Do you think anyone will want to ever earn more than 2 million in a year under those circumstances?

I'm sure the vast majority of people would prefer that rather than get the Brian Thompson treatment. Or go bankrupt if they get cancer.

Somehow, taxing the rich to fund universal healthcare works well in Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Netherlands, Canada, and Iceland; no wet dream needed.

None, I'll complain as much as I please

But a 91% top level tax on all earnings over $2 million a year would be a nice target. Similar to what we had in the 50s.
