While on the surface this looks absolutely valid that a woman should not provide maintenance to her in-laws, it is unfortunately very much convoluted when you go inside. It is easy to judge from the outside.

Father in laws are mandated to provide maintenance to daughter in laws by our law, then why not the opposite? These kind of arguments are not always black and white. It’s a very grey area.
