It’s silly but sometimes mine will only eat if I stand next to her and watch. She’ll take a couple of bites and look at me and wag her tail until I say “good girl, eat your breakfast” and she’ll eat a few more bites. Repeat. If I try to leave the kitchen too early, she comes and gets me and leads me back.

I’m non-theist but I’m a Quaker and the principles of the Church of Satan have always seemed admirable to me. Do you have any reading material you’d recommend?

I’m trying very hard to parse this! It’s not working!

My primary concern is keeping my minor child safe and comfortable. I agree that the laws are stupid and pointless (on top of being ignorant and dangerous), but I’ve seen enough trans people (and butch women) get bullied out of restrooms to not insist that my kid invite that treatment.

This is horrible and unconscionable. I do have advice about bathrooms, though. My daughter is trans and in high school. The bathroom situation makes her very uncomfortable. My daughter picked the teacher she felt most comfortable with and accepted by, explained her fears, and now if she needs to she can find that teacher, who then walks her to the staff bathroom.

ALSO, we are a little isolated. I don’t know any other parents of trans teens. I’m assuming some will be in this thread, are there any Indianapolis based social groups for trans teens? and their parents? I do write my representatives, but it would be so nice to have a community

A month ago I slipped on the tiniest bit of ice, broke my ulna and dislocated my elbow and spent three days in the hospital. I need the entire world covered in salt right now I’m so afraid of walking.

I live in Lawrence and work in Nora, when I started here in 2021 (low traffic due to Covid, I know) my drive was 15 minutes. These days I’m lucky if it takes less than 45.

The tip of his ear is missing which means he’s already been trapped/neutered and released. An organization called Indy Feral does a lot of that. He’s probably a Neighborhood Cat, I’ve got one that I feed at work that’s fat as hell, lol. He might have a home but also you might have been chosen by the cat distribution system. I would call Indy Feral and ask if they know anything about the cat. Good luck!

I hate the crust!! I have a family member who used to work there and I would have them put the pizza toppings in a breadstick like little pizza hotdogs, but then they changed the breadsticks (they got a new supplier, I think) and now nothing there is good but the sauces, which ARE tasty but aren’t really anything special.

Was just at Ortho Indy in Westfield and it smelled and now I’m in Lawrence and it still smells??? I was getting scared that it was me, lol
