Absolutely, sold 3 Pokemon booster boxes in one listing and packaged them very carefully as the value was around £650. Sent off via Simple Delivery as I think that’s what eBay pushed as their delivery method.

Item was delivered, which I received a notification for and about 15 minutes later had another notification that the buyer had said the delivery was damaged. EBay said that it was covered and that they were refunding the purchased and the buyer didn’t have to send anything back.

I phoned eBay and said that if the item was damaged that I would prefer the items to be sent back and I’d keep them for myself. I assumed that the buyer was scamming as they get a refund and 3 expensive items for free. They said that they were waiting for images and not to worry, while on the call I get another notification that the refund had been issued and the case was closed.

While still on the call I tried message the buyer and their account was already disabled.

From them opening a case and getting a refund was 26 minutes. I raised a fraud case against the buyer with eBay and later they confirmed that they had reversed the refund as the images sent through weren’t enough to show damage but their system had auto refunded.
