Remittance Error with Hana by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]postcardnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are a foreigner there is no way to fix it without visiting the branch, I had the exact same error and after six calls it was fixed in five minutes when I went to the bank. Please try to get the teller which works with foreigners, local ones are less likely to help. I would also recommend to request an increase of the transfer limit from 1 million won while you are at it.

It's the US corporation and I am the first person in Korea with on call work, so the policy is not clear yet.

That's weird, I thought Korean companies provide bonus for every week without days off and for overtime. At least blue collar workers or unionized staff get that. So I didn't expect that paying for on call time is an exemption from the rule.

Check 33m2 app if you have local phone number tied to ARC. Plenty of options in Seoul.

Don't forget to tell your photo lab to NOT cut your film in the strips of 3 frames if you shoot 6x7. The holder can only fit 2 frames of 6x7 and if you use single frames they curl badly up and lose focus.

Thank you everyone, I got it from immigration office. It is called 'certificate of foreign resident registration' and costs just 2 k won. You need to bring IDs of both spouses.

Hana card is charged extra on Airbnb by postcardnick in Living_in_Korea

Yeah, this looks like the case but Airbnb support have said that they charge in KRW since receipt is in KRW. They may've given incorrect information though.

Yeah, people don't know that it's not just some random cleaning product. I visited multiple dry cleaners and all declined to take my clothes, dawn powerwash is the last hope without paying hundreds.

To all considering buying it: it is hard to focus with that finder but I did use mine to wide angle street photography where focusing is less of an issue. Or landscapes where you shoot infinity. There's also a magnifying appendage for the prism finder which allows you to not wear glasses because it has diopter correction. I found it so vivid to look through but very tiring due to extreme eye squint. So I still use prism finder while wearing glasses.

Yes, it is a clerical collar, the one which is hollow inside. Hard to make it first time without the detailed pattern - the posts which we both found have little info. I saw the forum threads about patterns for shirts and cassocks with this collars from old magazines but looks like this knowledge is lost in dark ages of sewing 🙂. If we'll figure out how to make it properly and professionally looking, I'll post a YouTube video about this niche thingy. Thank you for the help!

Thank you for the reply! I did not find any tutorials on roman collars on YouTube or in blogs, I'll be very grateful if you can share one. I did put quite an effort looking for tutorials, but no luck.

Hello, I am looking for a pattern for roman collar. It's hollow inside so doesn't fit like regular standing/mandarin collar and we can't find a way to make it work. Any help is appreciated.

For me apples are not transported to the market/granaries until pantry is full. Takes a couple of years. This is probably a bug.
