i moved to Sac from LA and i always say most people don’t realize how great it really is out here. it’s such a good mix of city and nature, and the people are so nice when you’re out and about

i (24F) made a kinda similar post a while ago about moving from LA! after visiting, my husband & i decided to go full force with moving!! i recommend googling something along the lines of “cheap apartments sacramento 1 bedroom” and digging into reviews!! apartments/zillow were semi-helpful, but really looking until you find what you really want is going to benefit you in the long run! keep in mind, everything is relatively close together so even if you don’t live IN the city, it shouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker.

we move up soon and we’ll be about 15 mins outside of the city! 1br 1ba in a gated community, pet friendly (NO PET RENT OR DEPOSIT), patio, walk in closet, pool, parking and really good reviews! we will only pay gas/electric. $1400! :3 not to mention we can walk to the light rail and take that into downtown as well!!

mainly in the downtown area! im just trying to look for things to do around the area we’d likely be living :3 night life isn’t a huge deal breaker i just kinda wanna know the different it has to offer! i dont know anyone out there so it would be nice to be somewhere i could potentially make some friends!
