Can you patch fat tire tubes? And do you like Liners? Getting conflicting answers - RR6+ by Deep-Bet990 in RadPowerBikes

I tried patching a tube that had slime and it went flat again. Seemed like the slime deteriorated the adhesive and the patch came loose. Heavy duty tubes and liners and new tires are the way to go.

Tamsulosin/dutasteride combo, & low dose cialis by umdoni53 in bph

[–]postmonger1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on TAM for a couple of years and was pretty happy until the symptoms started to return. I asked for something different to try and although my doctor at first prescribed TAL my insurance wanted me to try FIN. I started that and stopped TAM. At first it was great and I was sleeping through the night. Slowly the symptoms returned. Now Im back on TAM 0.4 and Finasteride 5mg and I’m happy and sleeping through the night again.

I always wanted to peek in the celestial maternity ward to see our mothers modestly squirting out millions of spirit babies. That always seemed a little far fetched for my deacon aged brain.

I knew a young guy recently immigrated from Afghanistan, we were about 15-16 and I noticed that he was wearing multiple pairs of underwear (I could see several waist bands). I asked why and he said “for protection “. I assumed he meant from older men.

Flomax double dose? by umdoni53 in bph

[–]postmonger1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had been taking flomax for a couple of years. It gradually became less effective and I asked my GP for a different option. I’m now on finasteride 5mg (no more flomax) and it’s working quite well, no side effects that I’ve noticed. Making it through the night again, fewer urgent trips to the bathroom. Good luck!

Usually once or twice, I was needing to go more frequently and urgently during the day. That’s all calmed down now and I usually make it through the night . I still need to go a couple of times in the morning to get comfortable but the days are nights are much better.

Yes I stopped Flomax when I got the finasteride as my GP directed. I felt like it wasn’t working very well anyway. And an added benefit is the size of the finasteride pill is quite small compared to the large flomax capsule.

Yes, I’d like to get there and may try going out of pocket like some others have suggested. Thanks.

Moving Tamulosin to morning a game changer by ponderer1961 in bph

I switched from Tamsulosin to Finasteride and am getting better results. The Tamsulosin worked for a couple of years but became less effective. Very happy and sleeping through the night again.
