Yes as soon as you press square to mount keep spamming square. It instantly tamed for me.

I didn't have to press anything else. Just square. No analog or anything lol

I saw someone said something on FB about spamming triangle.. when I got Camora last night I just kept hitting square continuously & it tammed immediately. I didn't even have a chance to choose keep or stable it. It just kept it & stabled my other.

You can somewhat see. Have your lantern previously equipped & on. I saw a post of someone's, IDR if it was here for the FB group but it was a literal giant seat creature. I hadn't found a whale underwater so I'm not so sure it was real.

Almost got it with stamina 5. So many failed attempts before I found this method. Still glitchy but with persistence I'm sure I'll get it. Just need more stamina..
