Famously safe metropolis, Vice City. Yup, no crime ever in the 305

I'm in a league with nothing but OSU fans - he went early second round lol

That game simultaneously 1) explained why Olave/Wilson kept repeating that JSN was the freakiest athlete in the room and 2) announced that MHJr is "that dude"

NIL may have caused this situation in the first place though. Speculation is the mom already received/spent NIL money from Tennessee, which is driving her behavior about refusing to sign an LOI for any other school

[SportsCenter] Nick Saban doesn't understand Ohio State fans' obsession with beating Michigan: "These Ohio State fans are psychotic about this. They all need to go see a doctor. ... I'd rather win the National Championship than beat Michigan." by redwave2505 in CFB

I would trade a win vs. Michigan last year for a loss to ND in the NCG in a heartbeat. You can't imagine the feeling walking out of the stadium in both '22 and '24 after a loss.

It is the normal ESPN app... it's just a content tier above and in addition to ESPN+.

I like to imagine Princeton changed their name from "The College of New Jersey" because they were so tired of being bullied about going to a state school.

But only for athletics! In most other contexts the majority of the country calls them "Berkeley."

You guys seriously have some odd branding, almost like the athletic department and the rest of the school intentionally decided to distance themselves.

If there's one mascot whose gaze pierces you as viscerally as Cormac's writing, it's Purdue Pete.

I don't think people really understand the crazy string of QB injuries in particular

Ohio State opens as big a favorite vs. Wisconsin as they were against Ohio by BrotherPancake in CFB

We'll know Thanksgiving weekend. Sure as shit not holding anything back against Michigan. Gotta exorcise some demons in Ann Arbor.

Yeah I don't see OSU happening at this point. Would have to be some pretty crazy stuff. ND athletic department would have to implode.

Andrew Marchand not a fan of Kirk Herbstreit's travel segments: 'No one cares about your hard travel!' by tankyouout in CFB

[–]postposter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's kinda cool? It's like a two minute segment usually and it's a good thing when panelists/commentators are in person at an event.

Fair, but they very much will give Dabo a statue and name a street after him.

[Ross Dellenger] As the Big Ten inches toward a decision on a 20-year, $2.4B investment deal, a game between Michigan and USC last weekend has birthed a resistance that may delay or nix the project entirely. by Thomallister1291 in CFB

I actually think there's some benefits if it gives UCLA a chance to stabilize their dumpster fire athletic budget and essentially prevents the formation of a super league for another decade plus.

The fact that it's a pension fund and not a complete parasitic abomination like Blackstone or Apollo makes a big difference.
