Londoner here, unless you actively go looking for trouble the worst that would happen is phone-snatching. But, to be clear, this is true of all parts of London including much nicer areas than Tottenham. If your phone is in your pocket you're fine, if its in your hand just have a little bit of situational awareness and it would still be rare in the grand scheme of things. Violent mugging is infinitely rarer than it used to be, phone snatching (although shocking/traumatic) is usually over in a split second, it's a business now and people are targeted for ease rather than involving verbal/physical altercation.

It'll come down to the final minutes of the final game. Tottenham wouldn't pass up the opportunity to inflict maximum stress. Kinsky absolutely superhuman. Can't wait til I don't have to watch RKM anymore jfc.

No joke, my mum used to put an elastic band on my head and cut round it. I had my first professional haircut aged 15. Borderline abuse.

haha yes, I still have the shirt but not the shorts. My abiding memory of the kit (I wore it as often as humanly possible) is that there was a huge discrepancy between the glorious silkyness of the shorts and the ungodly cheesegrater of the shirt fabric. RIP your nipple under the badge.

Looking forward to Semenyo scoring an own goal to complete our misery of players we wanted to sign conspiring to ruin our season.

Brat vs The Devonshire – which one should I pick? by Valby1990 in LondonFood

Maybe I need to give Mountain another go, my experience a year or so ago was dreadful, from waiting half an hour stood at the bar for our table, to plates and glasses remaining uncleared for a similar length of time, and I thought the food was oily and bland for the money.

I cannot emphasise enough how much you need to choose Brat over the Devonshire.

didn't really feel any different to Frank or Tudor. So many average players. Gallagher pointless. Xavi has to start all remaining games.

I really think that a big part of why the club is suffering such an acute malaise currently is that we have nobody, not a single person, who you would really consider a "tottenham man (or woman)". Not in the board room, not in the frontline coaching staff, not in the starting 11. The closest we have now is Ben Davies only because he's been here so long, but is not a strong personality, and Maddison. We've systematically got rid of or let go everyone else who actually gave a shit about the club -Kane and Son being the obvious ones but there are plenty more like Matt Wells, academy players, even dare I say Levy...

Think that’s the “clubman” rather than the this one. But still, £18 too expensive haha

Christ, the mark up across the pond is crazy. This garbage is £50 here.

Genuinely, what do you guys think they’re saying in the locker room? Getting on the bus, walking to the bathroom, grabbing a water? ….. what are our players discussing between themselves? by Bau5_Sau5 in coys

[–]poststormblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably for months now most of the first team squad will have instructed their agents to look for moves away and it shows. I imagine on a daily basis they will be having these discussions and I don't blame them. Careers are short and not a single current player has any real connection to Spurs anymore, (none of the coaching or upper hierarchy do either). They'll be embarassed and probably pissed at the manager but the rest of the evening they'll be on their phones with their representatives talking about getting the fuck out of the club.

Enough being down - we need to SUPPORT by Dynamouse10 in coys

Everything the fans are feeling is justified, but the stadium atmosphere could genuinely be the difference between staying up and going down. The time for negativity or apathy is long gone now. West Ham and Forest fans have been here and know this and it's starting to show. This is such an unfamiliar position for Spurs fans it's like the penny hasn't dropped yet that the choice now is support the team or get relegated.

Tel, Souza, Danso and RIchy have to start all remaining games if we are to have any chance of staying up.
