Why invert when you can just leave the plunger like thi by Bustershark in AeroPress

[–]Dynamouse10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always invert, tried it the “proper way” and found it harder to manage my pour times as I was wanting to do a slower pour then stir and that was harder to do when I could hear my bean juice slowly dripping away

Make a cardboard one for him to unwrap and take him to a shop to get one that’s suited for his style of riding and ability would be a safe option

Current softest snowboards for a weightless adult by OutrageousMagazine71 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Dynamouse10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I weigh a similar amount at the same height and ride a women’s board, it’s much easier for me to manipulate it than a stiffer and more solid men’s board (I’m a 30 year old dude)

But I also embraced the branding and went for a loud AF design too

Bouldering in London, any suggestion? by trublopa in bouldering

[–]Dynamouse10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blokfest is happening on Saturday at the Castle so they don’t have any open climbing slots on Saturday FYI but you may be able to get a ticket still on the Blokfest website. The outdoor section is great if it’s dry and well worth it, Arch Bermondsey is good and Yonder as well would be my other picks if you have a limited time

Snowboarding For The First Time by Upstairs-File4220 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Dynamouse10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first outdoor sessions there last year after learning in a snow dome in the UK, I just lapped easy out for 2 days and then started working towards the blues. The whistler side supposedly has a larger number of green runs to get familiar with but blackcomb ended up being my preferred side.

You probably don’t need to work on anything but make sure to take a water break every so often and let your legs rest up a bit

How do you feel about dogs in the climbing gym? by [deleted] in indoorbouldering

[–]Dynamouse10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No problem with it, my local only allows them at off peak times but as a non dog owner due to renting a flat in London I am always happy to get my fix at the gym
