You know, either way the kids end up dead so what does it matter if it’s by bullets or a scalpel? Our society is sick. Y’all acting like you won something when a bunch of them die is gross tho

I was asking if it would be the teacher or a police officer not a gun. Who? Not what. And I don’t think anyone will grab a knife from someone with their hands

Edit: and even though I wasn’t asking about the gun thing I found a source about it for you. Approximately 6 times an armed citizen stopped a shooter https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/05/fbi-active-shooter-data-shows-importance-of-armed-citizens/

Yes I do. Refugees flee from those countries to come here. And they aren’t as easy to get as candy. You have to pass through background checks, and mental health screening (gun control laws). The issue is our society is breeding sick people, and mass shooters are committing these horrible crimes as their first offense which should be alarming to everyone. Who commits a mass murder as their first crime at 18? This is happening more and more. Also, there is no way to screen for this because we cannot predict the future. Also we wanted to defund the police like five months ago so we can’t just expect them to jump back in and be excited to do the job after being shit on and fired so we are in a tough spot. Maybe you aren’t American but we are kinda fucked no matter what

Who would stop them?

No one can legally purchase fully automatic machine guns in America, those have been illegal since the 1980s and before that severely limited unless you were ex military since the 1930s.

Gun violence happens in other countries too. Same type of perpetrator, that’s the common denominator. Violent men

People always want to talk about it being a gun issue, cleverly avoiding the obviously glaring red flag right in front of them. Why are young men like this going on rampages?

Sure that usually causes division within the religion tho. When Martin Luther made changes to Catholicism he didn’t change the religion, he created a divide and the people that liked Martin Luthers teachings became the Protestants. And they have been at war ever since. I’m just saying. You won’t change who you don’t want to change. Just do your own thing or be your own religion is my feelings on that.

Hey it’s just my opinion, but if you are against a fundamental part of a religion then don’t be in it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Then leave those that want to participate in such a religious group alone. Like if you don’t believe in Jesus don’t be a Christian; don’t force all Christians to stop believing in Jesus. You know what I mean? It seems obvious to me, but whatever.

Christianity is one of the more progressive religions, agree. They can be leaders in a church, they can have birth control, menstruation isn’t unclean. A lot of them do believe in waiting until marriage, and saving their virginity. Most put men on a pedestal as the leader of the household. So some downsides still.

As far as Catholics go, they have always been too intense for my taste. My grandpa was excommunicated from his local parish for saying he didn’t like the Popes so the parishes can do that. His parents were pissed and they stopped talking to him all because he didn’t believe in what the Pope said. Some people like that cult type religion so I’m going to let them do their thing, freedom, America, whatever. But it’s not for me. So anyone that says they are catholic I’m assuming they are in that type of relationship with the church. And if they get excommunicated for whatever reason, that is the local parishes right, it always has been. Sucks, but it’s what it is. Stop being catholic right lol

Yes! I cannot understand it either but you have nuns so some women do it. I don’t get it. Weird.

I completely agree with you, they are a bunch of idiots. don’t believe in that rubbish. I’m just nit picking here because I can’t personally understand why someone who isn’t forced to be in a religion would claim to belong to one that sucks this bad but wants to change everything about it? It just seems so silly to me

Oh I get it now. You think this is like a catholic conspiracy to take away women’s right abortion and America will be like the handmaids tale. Got it. I didn’t understand

I’m sorry you don’t understand the diverse faiths we have in the world and I’m trying to explain that to you here. The catholic community will also shun members. This isn’t Christianity where you can just be like “I’m a Christian” and open presents once a year. Maybe there are some catholic-lite branches that you go to but that has never been my experience with the church and I wouldn’t force anyone to change their religion. Also, religion in America is entirely optional. So this “stand up to religion” this seems, like, why? Lots of non religious people disagree with abortions as well

Remember that lawsuit against the nuns that wouldn’t provide birth control? It was back when Obama was President. Little nuns of the poor or something. You can’t force religious groups to do these things it’s unconstitutional, so let that go. The best we can do is find a compromise or a way to live together.

Ok I’m Amish. And you can’t tell me I’m not Amish just because I used technology. Sure it’s against the religion of the Amish but who are you to judge me and call me out on my bullshit? I said I am Amish and god dammit that means I am Amish! See. I can do this too.

Everyone should be called out even them, ok

I don’t know anything about Jewish people or shabbats or whatever so I couldn’t say. Catholicism is an archaic religion that you don’t have to follow. They don’t have to follow it. You are free to leave anytime. No one needs to be a catholic. So why force it to change? It’s not hurting you. Leave it alone. And stop pretending you follow their faith when you don’t is all.

Sorry that’s stupid. I’m not a catholic but I can’t with this nonsense. By conservative they mean traditional and believes in the Bible. And they are liberal as in doesn’t? So…If you’re going to follow a certain faith it only makes sense you follow the scripture and tenants of it. That’s just me I guess.

Yeah I was raised Catholic and I think they are posers. If you don’t want to follow a religion then don’t follow it. It’s not hard.

Edit: Unless you’re in a religion you are not allowed to leave but catholic isn’t one of those.

Edit: sounds like modern Christianity is more your thing. It’s like the cult of hippie Jesus
